The Business School Education Development Office worked with three undergraduate students over 6 weeks of the summer; James, Ignac and Sumaiya are all Business School students and were our Peer Learning Project Officers. They have created a range of materials to support new Peer Leaders for the coming academic year. This ranged from peer learning session plans, to promotional videos telling staff and students more about Peer Learning.

“Having current students working on these materials gave them the right tone and appeal meaning they are relevant and relatable for incoming Peer Leaders and the freshers they will help. James, Ignac and Sumaiya worked really hard in a limited time and have produced some brilliant work all while developing their project management, communication and team work skills.” – Emma Lester, Education Development Office.

This internship opportunity was funded in part by the Excel Internship scheme which is run by the university’s central careers and employability team.
